Golden hour is the winner
The hour just after sunrise and the hour before sunset — “golden hour” — is the sweet spot. The light is soft, warm and flattering, the skyline glows, and your photos come out stunning. It’s the most romantic light you’ll get all day.
Sunrise: private and peaceful
Early morning is the quietest the beach ever gets. If privacy matters most to you, a sunrise proposal means near-empty sand and calm water — just the two of you and the waking city. The trade-off is the early alarm and coordinating a believable reason to be there.
Sunset: dramatic and easy to plan
