The case for indoors (our favorite)
- Weatherproof. Chicago wind, rain, heat and cold get no vote. Your day is safe.
- Total privacy. A private room means no strangers wandering into your moment.

- Better, consistent light for photos, day or night.
- No parking or permit headaches that can quietly derail the timeline.

- Natural golden-hour light is beautiful when the weather cooperates.
- Open, airy, romantic — if the season and forecast align.
If you want outdoors, we recommend exactly one spot: North Avenue Beach — beautiful, and calmer than the touristy lakefront.

When couples ask us, we usually steer them indoors — and if they want the skyline, we plan the beach with an indoor backup.
